Had such a chill and fun experience at the surf hostel in Carcavelos! ✨ Lots of volunteers and guests from all over the world, which made it super easy to connect and share good vibes. I got the chance to practice surfing, enjoy the pool in the summer, and explore Portugal while keeping up with some easy tasks during working hours. Great balance between helping out and having time to enjoy the place! 🌊☀️

The first day I arrived at Carcavelos Surf Hostel, I immediately felt like part of the family. I learned a lot about Brazilian and Portuguese culture and enjoyed every single day! The working hours were really fair, and I loved the space where the volunteers stayed. Vitor made sure everyone felt comfortable, and you could talk to him if you had any concerns. I am so grateful for this experience, and I would have stayed longer if I could. The people are what make this place so special.

I lived the best 9 months of my life at Carcavelos Surf Hostel. 💙
The volunteers, together with Vitor and our amazing guests, brought out the best in me and embraced me in such a way that, before I knew it, I already loved everyone! There were countless laughs, serious conversations and moments I’ll carry with me forever and I’m deeply grateful for every single second.

Today I have friends from all over the world and I can’t wait to see them again soon. Thank you, CSH25! Foi um verão coooooooompletamente doido ❤️🌎

I spent two amazing and unforgettable months in this hostel. Everybody is super cool, kind and funny , so it was very hard for me to leave this place behind. Also the hostel itself is not too big which makes almost everybody connect in a way that makes you feel like family, it feels like a second home. If you looking for a place where you can walk to the beach within 5 minutes and get to know a lot of funny and chill people, Carcavelos surf hostel is the right place for you!!

Amazing hostel, the work is very simple and the shifts are short enough for you to enjoy your time at the beach or at the pool!

The staff are all very kind and the volunteers were all amazing. I loved my time here and would come back in a heartbeat!
