Sin duda la mejor experiencia de mi vida. Si bien fue mi primer voluntariado debo reconocer que fue la mejor decisión. Hiroshima es una ciudad pequeña pero que tiene mucho que ofrecer, y el hostel también. La gente del staff es maravillosa, desde el primer día fueron muy amables y me hicieron sentir muy especial. En un comienzo solicité estar 4 semanas como voluntaria, pero me enamoré de la cultura japonesa y solicité extender por más tiempo. Y sin duda espero volver el próximo año. Respecto al trabajo, en un comienzo puede ser un poco duro, pero unos días después te vuelves rápido.

I had a wonderful time at the guest house. The hostel's location right next to Hiroshima Station is incredibly convenient. Everyone was very friendly, and it's a great place to make new friends. A big thank you to Fumi and Ryoko, who generously provided us with plenty of food over Christmas and New Year. I especially want to thank Ryoko, who was always patient and understanding with me. I will definitely visit the guest house a few more times in the future!

It's hard to put into a few words, but to sum it up, it was a life-changing experience. The manager and staff are incredibly welcoming, creating more of a family than just a team of colleagues. The atmosphere is so warm and supportive that you'll never want to leave. The work is built on trust, communication, and dedication, making it a truly unique and unforgettable experience it's "one of a lifetime".

My experience was very positive. The people are friendly and welcoming, the working hours are fair, and communication is clear and smooth. They were also very understanding and flexible with the dates, which I really appreciated. The location is great and the facilities are excellent. As a small suggestion, the training and some processes might feel a bit detailed for volunteers staying for a shorter period, such as two weeks, and could possibly be simplified slightly. Overall, it is a well-organized and enjoyable place that I would happily recommend!

I met very nice people during my stay and the staff was very friendly. I can speak Japanese so i was able to work at the reception, which gave me plenty of free time to explore Hiroshima. Most of the time there are two people working at the reception. I was there for two weeks and after 3 shifts I already had to work alone. It is quite busy if you're doing reception alone, especially during a peak season. It was a bit stressful but the owner helped me during rush hours. Nonetheless I had a great time! I also had fun talking to guests and giving them recommendations on food and activities

It was a good experience, I never worked in a hostel before so Yoko-san helped me a lot. The guesthouse is comfortable and beautiful.

My stay to the hostel was perfect! The duty was not hard so you can finish early as fast as you are! The place is nice and comfortable and really near to the a-dome! And Kippei is an awsome guy!

I worked at 36 hostel for my volunteering. It was an amazing experience all the staff were amazing and the hostel was very nice and clean. The works was very easy because it is a smaller hostel. The location is also great!

I really enjoyed my stay in the guest house. The staff was super friendly and I was able to socialize with a lot of travelers, not only foreigners but also japaneses. Hiroshima is usually a place where people stay one or two days so is always busy, even so, you will always have help from the staff to finish on time or even before the schedule. I leave Hiroshima with only good memories, ¡thank you for the opportunity of helping in this amazing hostel!

Loved my experience here! There were three other volunteers which made the cleaning duties easier and more fun. And having two off days per week and the afternoons free was so nice to sightsee around Hiroshima and spend time in nature. :)
