The Experience
Come and join our team! In our guesthouse, we need helpers to do the cleaning tasks 5 days/week or receptionists 2 days/week depending on whether they can speak Japanese or not. If you want to help in another field, such as creating videos or advertisements on social media, it is adjustable for the work shift. Accommodation is with our guests, thus it is easy to make new friends from all over the world. A shared kitchen and free rice are provided

I had a wonderful stay at Aki Café Inn. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and welcoming, and the team is incredibly kind and helpful. I truly felt at home from the first day. The guesthouse is very clean, comfortable and very pleasant to live in. I made great memories here and I'm very grateful for this experience. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back one day. Thank you so much ❤️

Everybody at Aki Cafè was incredibly nice and helpful. I had a great time. The volunteer are put to work, but the result is literally the best hostel I've ever seen. Free time is also plenty, so it's easy to tour the city and the surrounding. Couldn't recommend it more

I had a good experience volunteering here. The host was nice. The accommodation was great and really comfortable. The work can be quite demanding sometimes and and standards are very high here. There is a lot of information to take in, so don't be surprised if you feel overwhelmed at first. If you can finish early then you can go and enjoy your day. I've met some really great people working here too which made the experience worth it.

I had a great time at Akicafé, thank you again Ryoko, Dina for teaching me with so much patience and the great Team of volunteers I met there ! It felt like home during christmas Time and - japanese style - everything is so well done here. Cleaning is not a passion for me but it is so enjoyable to feel useful while travelling (and stay in that really Nice place). Wish you the best !

Fumi san entrusted the tasks and off days fairly to the volunteers and always ready to support us, Ryoko-san, one of the staffs there took good care of us and shared with us her home made new year soba. Others volunteers are friendly and helpful. A comfortable stay to explore Hiroshima while practicing Japanese language at the reception. Recommended host!
