I had a wonderful experience at the guest house, the hostel is quite comfortable and has a very pleasant vibe. I worked in cleaning and making beds which was demanding but helps you improve housekeeping skills. Ryoko was very kind and sweet and taught me and explained how to do everything about work. Thank you Fumi for this very good experience

I only stayed for two weeks but I really enjoyed the experience. I worked at the reception so I got to practice my japanese a lot. Ryoko-san and Fumi-san were very patient and nice, and I met many cool people in the hostel. The place is extremely clean and organized, overall I had a great time!

My experience at the guest house was amazing. The environment is wonderful and cozy. My experience allowed me to meet many people from all over the world, both volunteers and guests and I developed some amazing bonds. The tasks were a little tough and difficult, but Ryoko, who is really sweet and nice, was always there to help and explain things that were unclear. Furthermore, the workday never lasted longer than 4 hours, finishing not later than 3pm, which gave me the chance to have plenty of free time to enjoy the wonderful city of Hiroshima. Thank you Fumi and Ryoko for this wonderful experience!<3

Wonderful first experience in Japan. The work is very thorough but it serves as an excellent training for people interested in furthering their skills in hospitality. The hostel is beautiful and bright and I would definitely see myself staying there again, also as a guest. Ryoko-san in charge of the housekeeping was absolutely wonderful in every way and I will miss her and most of the volunteers a lot. My only regret is that I wish I had stayed longer.

Sin duda la mejor experiencia de mi vida. Si bien fue mi primer voluntariado debo reconocer que fue la mejor decisión. Hiroshima es una ciudad pequeña pero que tiene mucho que ofrecer, y el hostel también. La gente del staff es maravillosa, desde el primer día fueron muy amables y me hicieron sentir muy especial. En un comienzo solicité estar 4 semanas como voluntaria, pero me enamoré de la cultura japonesa y solicité extender por más tiempo. Y sin duda espero volver el próximo año. Respecto al trabajo, en un comienzo puede ser un poco duro, pero unos días después te vuelves rápido.

I had a wonderful time at the guest house. The hostel's location right next to Hiroshima Station is incredibly convenient. Everyone was very friendly, and it's a great place to make new friends. A big thank you to Fumi and Ryoko, who generously provided us with plenty of food over Christmas and New Year. I especially want to thank Ryoko, who was always patient and understanding with me. I will definitely visit the guest house a few more times in the future!

It's hard to put into a few words, but to sum it up, it was a life-changing experience. The manager and staff are incredibly welcoming, creating more of a family than just a team of colleagues. The atmosphere is so warm and supportive that you'll never want to leave. The work is built on trust, communication, and dedication, making it a truly unique and unforgettable experience it's "one of a lifetime".

My experience was very positive. The people are friendly and welcoming, the working hours are fair, and communication is clear and smooth. They were also very understanding and flexible with the dates, which I really appreciated. The location is great and the facilities are excellent. As a small suggestion, the training and some processes might feel a bit detailed for volunteers staying for a shorter period, such as two weeks, and could possibly be simplified slightly. Overall, it is a well-organized and enjoyable place that I would happily recommend!

I met very nice people during my stay and the staff was very friendly. I can speak Japanese so i was able to work at the reception, which gave me plenty of free time to explore Hiroshima. Most of the time there are two people working at the reception. I was there for two weeks and after 3 shifts I already had to work alone. It is quite busy if you're doing reception alone, especially during a peak season. It was a bit stressful but the owner helped me during rush hours. Nonetheless I had a great time! I also had fun talking to guests and giving them recommendations on food and activities

It was a good experience, I never worked in a hostel before so Yoko-san helped me a lot. The guesthouse is comfortable and beautiful.
