Gostei muito da experiência! É um hostel muito movimentado então treinei muito conversar em outros idiomas e o hostel tem o bar mais legal da cidade. Conheci muitas pessoas legais de diversos países nesse bar. Mani, o gerente, nos convidava frequentemente para jogar esportes com os locais ou baralho com pessoas do hostel o que me enturmou bastante. Ele sempre esta disposto a ajudar no que for preciso. A locação é simples, o banho nem sempre é quente e pelo hostel ser agitado normalmente acaba acordando cedo pela movimentação.

Foi muito legal, os horários são justos e todo mundo trabalha conforme o combinado! As pessoas são legais e fiz muitas amizades. O Mani, que é o anfitrião, realmente se esforça para estar sempre presente e nos incluir em atividades com os locais. Uma experiência muito bacana. As instalações são bem básicas: tudo limpo, mas simples, então não espere nenhum conforto além do essencial. Acho uma ótima experiência para duas semanas; talvez, por mais tempo do que isso, possa ficar desconfortável.

Volunteering at the hostel is super chill and easy! It's just working at reception for a 5 hour shift, checking guests in and renting bikes; if there's no guests you can chill until they come. The volunteers have a separate dorm which is so convenient. There's also 14 cats!! And you are provided with fresh veggies every week for cooking (there's a kitchen!) And Hakim, Mani and Justine are so kind and generous!!! The Highlands are also so beautiful, with lots of hikes, night markets and delicious food, and it's cooler than the rest of Malaysia which is a refreshing break from the heat!

My experience with the hostel was amazing. The vibes are warm and the people felt like family. I met many kind travelers, had so much fun playing Volleyball and badminton, and enjoyed countless hikes around the area.

Visiting the Cameron Highlands was not part of my plan. I simply fell asleep on the bus from Singapore to KL. I messaged the hostel, and I'm grateful they accepted me. Mani and Justin are great hosts. I had a truly meaningful stay here—from celebrating my birthday on my first day, late-night talks, fun games, hiking in the rain, tasting the most delicious tea, to meeting amazing and beautiful people.

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel. The people were lovely and welcoming and the tasks were easy and well explained. Although I didn't get to meet the owner as he was on vacation, I felt well prepared and everything was running smoothly. I can only recommend this experience to anyone looking for a break in nature here in Malaysia

The hostel experience is very nice. The owner is pretty chill and nice and the place is comfortable and clean. The work itself is just in reception but you also rent motorcycles, sometimes it is confusing at the beginning but it is natural, don-t push yourself you are gonna be learning for the full time that you are in the hostel. Something to be aware of is that the place, in general, is very outdoorsy, be aware of the cold and mosquitos potentially.
