Mani the manager of the hostel is very friendly, patient and helpful , to make you feel confident and comfortable at a hostel reception. Always ready for a badminton, volley-ball or pool table time, you will never be bored at the hostel ! The place is very comfortable, the deep and silent the hostel so close, if you want to know something singular about Malaysia, and have time to share, with people, and yourself, this is the place to go ! I highly recommend!!!! the hostel is very chill and cameron highland is such a good place to take a break! mani is a very welcoming person that will put you comfortable. the work is very easy and you'll learn pretty fast. often you have the rest of the day to go on hike or see a tea plantation. it was a good first volunteering experience:)))

Second time here. I could honestly spend months here if there was no time constraints. The work is chill, the host Mani is understanding, and there are plenty of things to do so you never get bored. The other volunteers and locals are great, there is amazing food nearby or you can cook your own meals, and the climate is amazing.

I had a lovely time at the hostel! i stayed for 3 weeks & felt very at home. Mani is a great host & i made good friends with other volunteers & guests. the accommodation is basic but have access to small kitchen where group meals were cooked. the work is very simple & the hours aren't demanding flexible & not demanding. overall i had an amazing time & hope to return at some point in the future. would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in cameron highlands for a longer time

After our second time here, Cameron Highlands feels like a home away from home. Everyone you meet is lovely and becoming a regular at places is an amazing feeling. The work is as agreed but very laid back most of the time, you might even get to share family meals and play some badminton together. You won't regret volunteering here and will be sad when you have to go. Thank you 🥹
