I had an amazing experience staying in Carcavelos. Because of a great location you always find something fun to do. The work was easy and you get schedule a week in advance so you can plan trips around Portugal. The biggest highlight of my stay was for sure a good company in the hostel and late night trips to Lisbon.

If you love surfing or the ocean the location is perfect for you– the beach is just a 3-minute walk away, and the neighborhood is lovely. The house is spacious with a nice pool and a comfortable outdoor chill area. The tasks were simple and well communicated. In autumn/winter the atmosphere is much quieter and there is not many young guests, so if you're looking for a livelier vibe, I'd recommend coming in warmer months. Vitor was a great, flexible host, always in a good mood and very understanding when I was sick. Overall, a successful first Worldpackers experience – thank you!

It was an incredible and unforgettable experience where I learned a lot of skills and met a lot of great people. The feeling of a group is always present and all the plans and activities I made with all my colleagues would not change them for anything in the world. Totally recommended!!!

I loved my time at the hostel! The work was easy and Vitor is a good host. The hostel is located close to the beach and train station so there was a lot to do in the free time. Thank you Vitor for this time!!

The vibes were great at the hostel ~ Vitor creates a great environment for the team and encourages us to socialize and feel like a team. Anything can happen with the guests but the team is always good vibes and helping each other.

It was an amazing experience here in Carcavelos! Vitor and the other Volunteers were great and it was a good vibe the whole time beeing there. The location is incredible, it is very close to the beach so you can go surfing all the time. Lisbon is also very close, it only takes 30 minutes by train. If you are looking for a place with great people and good waves or if you just want to have a good time in Lisbon then I can recommend the hostel to you.

Esta ha sido mi primera experiencia como Worldpackers y me alegro mucho de las personas (y a Chico, el perro surfero) a las que he conocido y de los momentos que he vivido en Carcavelos. Vitor ha sido increíble conmigo, tanto como manager como amigo. Solo le puedo dar las gracias por todo <3 Este lugar ha sido durante un mes y medio mi casa y lo voy tener saudade del, como dirían aquí. No es un adiós, es un hasta pronto.GRACIAS, GRACIAS, GRACIAS!
