It was an amazing experience here in Carcavelos! Vitor and the other Volunteers were great and it was a good vibe the whole time beeing there. The location is incredible, it is very close to the beach so you can go surfing all the time. Lisbon is also very close, it only takes 30 minutes by train. If you are looking for a place with great people and good waves or if you just want to have a good time in Lisbon then I can recommend the hostel to you.

Esta ha sido mi primera experiencia como Worldpackers y me alegro mucho de las personas (y a Chico, el perro surfero) a las que he conocido y de los momentos que he vivido en Carcavelos. Vitor ha sido increíble conmigo, tanto como manager como amigo. Solo le puedo dar las gracias por todo <3 Este lugar ha sido durante un mes y medio mi casa y lo voy tener saudade del, como dirían aquí. My first volunteering experience was amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better one! I was able to connect with nature, surf every day, and make friends from all over the world. Victor, the hostel manager, was absolutely incredible, always helpful and ready to assist with anything needed. If you're looking for an experience near the beach, with great waves, and an awesome vibe, I highly recommend it! It was an unforgettable time, and I can't wait to come back!

The hostel was my first volunteering experience. Vitor was such a great manager, host and Friend in my Time here. Living with the other volunteers and Chico the dog was an absolut blast and I wouldnt trade it for anything. The Location of the hostel is amazing, close to the beach, the supermarket and only 30 minutes to Lisboa. The work is defenitly managable and easy to get used to. I can only recommend to volunteer here!

Originally, I was going to another city, but I'm glad this happened. I was happier than I could have imagined. My first time volunteering couldn't have been more amazinggg. I learned so many things about myself, and it was also essential to improve my English and be able to communicate with people from different countries. I will definitely carry this experience with me for life and always remember the people who made these days so so so special. Thank you, Vitor, for choosing me, and especially for choosing such great volunteers, who, even far from home, gave me a home and so much love.

The hostel was my first volunteer experience, and I couldn't have wished for a better one. The work is mostly easy and Vitor is always ready to help whenever needed. Big thanks to you Vitor!! I've made wonderful friendships with the other volunteers that I will never forget– without them, the experience wouldn't have been nearly as great. I planned to stay for just four weeks, but I ended up extending my stay because I enjoyed it so much. I'm really grateful for all the experiences we had together. The time here and my second family will always hold a special place in my heart.

My experience at the hostel was fantastic to say the least. I arrived on August and was immediately welcomed and felt at home. Vitor and the other guys were super friendly and always available to help me. If you are looking for a little freedom, the sea and make new friends this is the perfect place. The hostel is very big and spacious, the pool and garden are perfect for spent time with friends! I'm really greatful to have had this experience and i recommend anyone to do it! Thanks Vitor, you are the best, but obviously thanks also to my second family, it was wonderful! Grazie <3

My experience in Carcavelos and the hostel exceeded all my expectations. Being my first time volunteering I didn't know what to expect, but from day one, I felt welcomed by the other volunteers and staff. I stayed for the whole month of August, which meant the hostel was quite full, but the work was chill and easy. Vitor is the best manager! Beds could be better but the hostel really grows on you; it's spacious, and the garden with the pool is amazing. I had time to surf, visit Lisbon, party a lot, make friends, but most importantly, felt at home and with a family. Would love to come back!
