I had the best time at the hostel! The work was as described on the profile and often you even got to finish early. Switching shifts was also never a problem, which was pleasant because it gave you more flexibility to explore Portugal. The staff team is extremely nice and welcoming and always up to do some things together, which made this experience more special! They also know the good local spots in Faro or places to go to in the Algarve. Faro is a good destination for volunteers because it is really easy to explore the Algarve from there but also bigger cities. I can only recommend the hostel! :))

I experienced a wonderful time in the hostel! The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming and contributed a lot to making the hostel feel like home quickly! The work was easy and the working hours were respected at all times. Also, the Hostel has a very central location, not only in Faro, but in the whole Algarve, which makes it easy to go on trips on the off-days to explore the beautiful nature of Portugal. I was very lucky to meet such wonderful people and especially volunteers. I would definitely recommend this volunteering!! :)

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the hostel! The work was super relaxed, and there was always flexibility if you wanted to swap shifts to take a longer trip and explore Portugal. But in the end, what truly made this experience unforgettable was the incredible team—the other volunteers and the staff. Their kindness, energy, and sense of community made every moment special. I had the best time here, and I can't recommend it enough :))

I had an amazing time at the hostel and I couldn't wish for a better experience! Everybody there is very friendly and it makes fun to work with them. You get your work sceduale in advance, what makes it easy to plan little trips. The shifts are varied an fun and if you have plans or problems you can always talk with Jennifer about them! So Thank you for everything

This was my first volunteer trip and I'm so happy that I got to experience it at the hostel. I was immediately met by a lovely team who made me feel at home directly. The schedule was very clear which made it easy to plan your free time. I fell in love with Faro and it's charm, and how easy it is getting to other places. If the chance would arrive I would go back in a heartbeat!🫶

I had a fantastic time at the hostel and cannot reccommend it enough. It was a wonderfully mellow and close team, but i can imagine there's lots of shenanigans during the summertime. Jennifer was lovely and the hostel is full of charm and character. I really enjoyed my time there

We had such a great experience with Emanuel at our hostel! He is super friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. Our guests and staff love him! He brought a great energy to the place and made everyone feel welcome.

A beautiful hostel in the center of Faro with fixed schedule for volunteers. Working hours were always meeting the expectations. The work is enjoyable and staff members and host very sweet. I had a very memorable time at the hostel and made some meaningful connections with fellow volunteers and travelers I am very thankful for and will surely not forget! :) One thing to take into consideration is that there is no food or budget provided to buy your own food as usually in other volunteer projects.

I really enjoyed this experience. Jennifer, the host, is chill and accommodating. Thus, I would recommend applying for this hostel if you are looking to live in Portugal.

I had a great time at the hostel! It's the nicest looking hostel I've ever stayed at. It has such a cosy and homely atmosphere. It is clear that the owner Jennifer has lots of hostel experience and that has translated into a great hostel. The hours are super fair which gives you a lot of time to explore the rest of the Algarve and bigger cities like Lisbon, Porto and Seville. I recommend!
