This was my first volunteering experience and i am more than happy with it. The hostel is cozy and homely, the staff is super cute and welcoming. Faro is a super cute and chill city, everything is close to the hostel. The work is easy and most of the times you work even less then agreed upon, so there's plenty of time to explore the city and the Algarve. I loved my time there very much and i know i'll be missing it a lot. Lots of love to the whole team!

I spent six and a half weeks in the hostel and I would easily spend the rest of the year here! The hostel has such a warm and welcoming feel, it's like the minute you walk in you have entered another place that you can truly call home. The owner, full time staff and other volunteers go on to make that feeling of home even stronger and are just genuinely some of the nicest and friendliest people I've met while travelling. The work is well easy to do and hours are well respected, and you get the roster at least 2 weeks in advance so you have time to plan activities and trips away. Thank you guys!❤️

I spent an amazing month in the hostel. The staff and the other volunteers were amazing, the work was easy and we had a lot of free time to enjoy Faro and the other beautiful towns in the Algarve. I would definitely recommend working or staying here and I would love to go back in the future.

The hostel was my first volunteer experience and what a great first time volunteering. I can't speak highly enough of the care that this place is down by not only the maintenence staff, but by the owner herself, who is not afraid of doing the work she asks volunteers to do. When my initial volunteer assignment didn't work out, the hostel was willing to take me, and I'm thrilled they did. This was an all-arpund amazing place to volunteer for, and I cannot recommend them enough to my fellow WorldPackers.

I couldn't have asked for a better first experience with Worldpackers. The staff was so friendly and. welcoming. The hostel was probably one of my favorites I've ever stayed in! Such a lovely place.

I had an incredible experience at the hostel. Jennifer and the permanent staff are the most lovely and kind people. They taught me how to get all the task done patiently and the rest of the time was just to enjoy Faro and surround. The work is simple and easy to learn. I also met a great group of volunteers, that was something really good. We spent some days together going to the beach or eating out for dinner and visiting the locals club night. I highly recommend this experience. Hoping to see all of them again.

The hostel is a warm and friendly hostel with lovely staff, great volunteers, and a good variety of guests traveling through. It's centrally located in Faro and has extremely easy access to the train, busses, and the airport if you want to explore on your days off (which you have plenty of if you do night shifts). There are also multiple grocery stores and other general life things within walking distance. You get your schedule 2/3 weeks in advance so you can always know what to expect, and the hours are 100% respected. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

The hostel was my first WorldPackers experience and I really enjoyed it! The staff is friendly, hours are well respected and leaves room for you to enjoy your time in Faro even on the days you have work:) There's always a bit of transport to experience the different part of Algarve, but it's reasonably accessible from Faro

I had the best time at the hostel! Faro is a small place with not so much to do, luckily I had an amazing hostel team that kept me entertained. Everyday there was possibility to do something with the other volunteers and guests. I did the night shifts, which can be hard but if you have no problem with working at night it is definitely worth volunteering. If you would like to discover more of Portugal during your volunteering time, the nightshifts are a good option, you work 3 nights and then have 3 nights/ 4 days off to go on little citytrips.
