Volunteer at our hostel

A beautiful hostel in the center of Faro with fixed schedule for volunteers. Working hours were always meeting the expectations. The work is enjoyable and staff members and host very sweet. I had a very memorable time at the hostel and made some meaningful connections with fellow volunteers and travelers I am very thankful for and will surely not forget! :) One thing to take into consideration is that there is no food or budget provided to buy your own food as usually in other volunteer projects.

I really enjoyed this experience. Jennifer, the host, is chill and accommodating. Thus, I would recommend applying for this hostel if you are looking to live in Portugal.

I had a great time at the hostel! It's the nicest looking hostel I've ever stayed at. It has such a cosy and homely atmosphere. It is clear that the owner Jennifer has lots of hostel experience and that has translated into a great hostel. The hours are super fair which gives you a lot of time to explore the rest of the Algarve and bigger cities like Lisbon, Porto and Seville. I recommend!

I had a great time in the hostel! The staff is super nice, Jennifer is an amazing host who is often in the hostel and shows she truly cares about the experience for everybody. It's in a great location and Faro is such a nice and small city :) had lots of fun with other wonderful volunteers and the shifts were fair and agreed on. I would definitely come back!

It was all about the volunteers and the stuff. Great people! The hostel itself is really cool. Faro is a small city but with many possibilities. I do recommend this hostel, no doubt!

Welcomed by a lovely team of volunteers and staff, the month went by too quickly. I would go back in a heartbeat if the opportunity presented itself 🧡 I would recommend the hostel for backpackers and travelers out there, Faro is a cute town. The hours were well respected and the tasks fair. Miss you all! 🧡

The past month volunteering at Tillia hostel was a wonderful experience. The owner Jennifer and her employees are very kind people and they're very committed to make the hostel an amazing experience for the guests and volunteers. The tasks are not difficult and everyone is happy to help or answer any questions. The hostel itself is beautiful. Jennifer has done an amazing job maintaining the building and the kitchen is one of the best I've ever seen. Within a month, I was able to see so much of faro and the Algarve. This is an experience I will never forget. Thank you Tillia

The hostel was very clean and had a homely vibe and Jennifer was very sweet and understanding. It was possible to leave earlier when I finished my tasks early and also it was possible to ask for specific days off. The night shifts were very tiring since you have to clean the hostel and the next day, at least for me, I didnt have much energy. As a downside for me, November was a bit off season for Faro, so there weren't many people and activities at the hostel. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it, maybe even better in the summer 🌞😊

This was my first volunteering experience and i am more than happy with it. The hostel is cozy and homely, the staff is super cute and welcoming. Faro is a super cute and chill city, everything is close to the hostel. The work is easy and most of the times you work even less then agreed upon, so there's plenty of time to explore the city and the Algarve. I loved my time there very much and i know i'll be missing it a lot. Lots of love to the whole team!
