I couldn't have asked for a better first experience with Worldpackers. The staff was so friendly and. welcoming. The hostel was probably one of my favorites I've ever stayed in! Such a lovely place.

I had an incredible experience at the hostel. Jennifer and the permanent staff are the most lovely and kind people. They taught me how to get all the task done patiently and the rest of the time was just to enjoy Faro and surround. The work is simple and easy to learn. I also met a great group of volunteers, that was something really good. We spent some days together going to the beach or eating out for dinner and visiting the locals club night. I highly recommend this experience. Hoping to see all of them again.

The hostel is a warm and friendly hostel with lovely staff, great volunteers, and a good variety of guests traveling through. It's centrally located in Faro and has extremely easy access to the train, busses, and the airport if you want to explore on your days off (which you have plenty of if you do night shifts). There are also multiple grocery stores and other general life things within walking distance. You get your schedule 2/3 weeks in advance so you can always know what to expect, and the hours are 100% respected. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

The hostel was my first WorldPackers experience and I really enjoyed it! The staff is friendly, hours are well respected and leaves room for you to enjoy your time in Faro even on the days you have work:) There's always a bit of transport to experience the different part of Algarve, but it's reasonably accessible from Faro

I had the best time at the hostel! Faro is a small place with not so much to do, luckily I had an amazing hostel team that kept me entertained. Everyday there was possibility to do something with the other volunteers and guests. I did the night shifts, which can be hard but if you have no problem with working at night it is definitely worth volunteering. If you would like to discover more of Portugal during your volunteering time, the nightshifts are a good option, you work 3 nights and then have 3 nights/ 4 days off to go on little citytrips.

This was my first experience on Worldpackers and I can say that the hostel has made me want to continue this type of travel. The work was really easy and fair and I never went over my hours. I loved doing the reception shift and the hostel itself is beautiful! I really got to spend a lot of time in Faro and in a more relaxed way which was amazing. I loved going to the beaches or even just walking around the town. The other volunteers were great and it's easy to make friends. I think the volunteer room is such a fun place to be and feels like you're at camp with your best friends!

The hostel is an amazing place to volunteer and spend a few weeks of your life ❤️. The team is very welcoming, the work is easy, and it takes just as much time as was agreed upon. The place itself is really nice, clean, and spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. Faro is a nice town with beautiful beaches and a warm ocean. Thank you, the hostel, for being my home away from home!

I really enjoyed the place and the locals. Faro is a really nice place to spend your summer holidays and the hostel is one of the biggest and cleanest of the city. People are kind and they are available to help you with whatever you need. I recommend this hostel to people who want to explore the Algarve and the southern part of Portugal.

I spent a month in Faro and it felt like it was not enough. The best thing about the night shifts is that you end up getting used to your new sleep schedule and it's better to enjoy 3 consecutive days off. There are checklists for everything you have to do during your shift. Faro is a great place to stay and experience a quieter life. It is not an excessively touristy city, so you can enjoy the summer (as was my case) in a more relaxed way. I want to thank the volunteers who shared the experience with me and all the staff members for making me feel at home! You are the best!
