Este ha sido nuestro primer voluntariado y en modo duo. Pasamos 6 semanas con Angel y Sandra y no podríamos habernos sentido mejor acogidos haciéndonos sentir como en familia. Las tareas son flexibles y variadas. Los voluntarios ayudamos en la cocina y aprendemos nuevas y riquísimas recetas ticas. La comida es en general abundante y equilibrada. También hemos pasado tardes muy divertidas de karaoke, baile y fogatas. El alojamiento consta de dos cabañas y tres cuartos en total por lo que hay bastante privacidad. Recomendamos saber un poco de español a los futuros voluntarios.

Considero que no es un lugar adecuado para recibir a personas que van a colaborar. Mínimo tener una cama limpia y un espacio seguro. Las tareas no son complicadas y los horarios buenos. Decir que no hay internet y que no se avisó sobre esto. Hora y cuarto andando cada día para llegar al pueblo. Perfecto para amantes del silencio y la soledad.

I had the chance to spend 15 days with Sandra y Angel: I totally merged in their way of living, sharing and being alive. I am really grateful for the experience I had, being the only volunteer there made it even deeper. I'd definitely recommend this finca to the ones who want to share a truthful time spent in nature, tranquility and tica culture; you will learn something new everyday: geography, politics, food, yourself! Espero que todos los deseos y proyectos que tienen se hagan realidad algún día, estoy segura de que así será porque realmente sabes cómo hacer q las cosas sucedan!Un abrazo

This was my first volunteer experience and I loved it. Angel and Sandra are very kind and awesome hosts, who were very interested on my thoughts as well. The work was most of the time very easy but at some points it can be hard as well. I was able to improve my Spanish because they only speaking in spanish to you, which helps a lot. I would recommend this for everyone who loves the nature because the “city” is very far away. It was an awesome experience with many new impressions. ;)

This was my partner and I's first Worldpackers experience and we loved it! Although we speak very little Spanish we got to know Sandra and Aja very well over the two weeks we stayed with them. (And had lots of practice learning Spanish!) We were helping them build a new house and our projects varied from day to day. From painting shelves, digging holes, helping them move wood, and washing dishes, it was rewarding work where we felt like we were making an impact. The heat and humidity was an adjustment but we were given plenty of breaks and rest. On average we worked for about 3 hours a day.

I had troubles with my flights, which forced me to stay home in the end and never arrive there. But the communication and respect was definitly amazing. They were very kind and welcoming me for a next time, I hope I can make it there soon! :)

Hola: Sandra y Ángel son dos magnificas personas, con muchas experiencias y vivencias. Para mi a sido un placer aportar mi granito de arena en su proyecto, que es mejorar la finca tanto para ellos como para los voluntarios. Puedes disfrutar de la tranquilidad que ofrece la finca y de los diferentes animales que habitan el lugar. A 30 minutos caminando hay un rio donde poder bañarse y a 40 minutos el pueblo por si necesitas hacer alguna compra. De todas maneras ellos suelen ir a menudo al pueblo. Un gran abrazo y ojala se cumplan todos vuestros sueños!

This was my first time in Costa Rica and especially as a volunteer but this experience at the lodge was incredible. Sandra and Ángel are very welcoming and caring people who always have ideas for you and will always find something to make you laugh too😂the place is absolutely beautiful for a complete change of scenery and working there is an experience I will never forget. I can't wait to go back already!!! ✨

It was my first experience as a volunteer and I am extremely happy to have spent these 3 weeks with Sandra and Angel! They welcomed us with extreme kindness and happiness all day long. the lodge will always be one of my favorite destinations to admire nature and spend time (with music ;) ) with lovely people ! Thank you very much! I can't wait to come back !

This was my first experience working as a volunteer. I have a amazing experience. Sandra and angel are so lovely people. They take me every where they go and show me a lot of things and introduce me to a lot of nice people. I will definitely go there every time I go to Costa Rica
