Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa y fueron unas semanas que nunca olvidaré :) Ángel y Sandra son geniales , te sientes en casa desde el primer día porque te hacen sentir muy bien y querido y se preocupan por ti. Si quieres conectar con la naturaleza y ester cerca de animales es el lugar ideal. Además de que aprendes mucho con los dos de muchas cosas. Gracias por todo de corazón. Ha sido muy especial!

If you keep in mind you are going to work on a farm, this is a great experience. I appreciated the large portions of good food (thank you Sandra) and the flexibility of the schedules. I do have to say who you are with greatly effects your experience there as there aren't many other people you interact with other than the family and other volunteers. That being said there is also Missy the cat that will always be there to hang out. Overall I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to work on a small farm and learn about Costa Rican culture.

Sandra y Angel son realmente generosos y amables. La finca esta ubicada en un lugar muy tranquilo y discreto donde se puede admirar una gran variedad de pájaros asi como pequeños reptiles. Las tareas son un poco físicas pero te devuelven a la forma física. hay que caminar un poco para llegar al pueblo y también hay una cascada muy bonita cerca. ¡Realmente disfruté mi estadía en el alojamiento! Me alegro de volver. :)

Compartir 6 semanas con Ángel y Sandra en el alojamiento fue maravilloso. En todo momento me sentí muy cómoda. Con el trabajo son muy flexibles ya que hay trabajos que se hacen duros en la tierra bajo el sol. Disfrutamos de charlas, momentos de baile, hogueras en noches de luna llena, karaoke, meriendas eternas con pancakes… Sandra cocina riquísimo y abundante. Tuve la oportunidad de aprender de repostería y platos típicos!

Notre séjour chez Angel et Sandra fut incroyable ! Nous avons partagé d'excellents moments qui resteront gravés dans notre mémoire 🥰 Angel et Sandra étaient pleins d'attention : la délicieuse cuisine de Sandra, les ateliers coiffure, les petits goûters, les sorties à la rivière ou à la cascade, la virée à la Fortuna… Tout était fait pour nous faire sentir comme à la maison ! 🥺 Quant au travail celui-ci était principalement concentré sur des taches de jardinage. Le savoir de Sandra nous a permis d'apprendre pleins de choses sur la culture et les différentes plantes qu'on retrouve à la ferme 🌱

I had an amazing experience! The hosts and other volunteers were so kind and welcoming, and felt like family. The work is pretty physical, but we took a lot of breaks and sometimes did activities instead of working. The farm is beautiful and in a very rural, jungle area so be prepared for cold showers, minimal cell phone service, a lot of bugs, and a long walk to town whenever you need anything. The hosts also do not really speak any English, so the experience is going to be more challenging unless you speak a decent amount of Spanish. I loved my time there and I really felt at home!

From the start, we we felt at home at the lodge. Angel and Sandra were very welcoming and Sandra is a great cook. We had a fun time with the karaoke parties with other volunteers. The work was mostly gardening (planting, weeding, shoveling, etc.). They have lots of sheep and plants : cocoa trees, plantains, and many other things in the garden. The farm is also close to a pepper and vanilla farm that you can visit. The farm is quite isolated but 30-40mins away, there is the wonderful river, supermarkets, bakeries, waterfalls... We had a great two weeks here and made lots of friends

Este ha sido nuestro primer voluntariado y en modo duo. Pasamos 6 semanas con Angel y Sandra y no podríamos habernos sentido mejor acogidos haciéndonos sentir como en familia. Las tareas son flexibles y variadas. Los voluntarios ayudamos en la cocina y aprendemos nuevas y riquísimas recetas ticas. La comida es en general abundante y equilibrada. También hemos pasado tardes muy divertidas de karaoke, baile y fogatas. El alojamiento consta de dos cabañas y tres cuartos en total por lo que hay bastante privacidad. Recomendamos saber un poco de español a los futuros voluntarios.

Considero que no es un lugar adecuado para recibir a personas que van a colaborar. Mínimo tener una cama limpia y un espacio seguro. Las tareas no son complicadas y los horarios buenos. Decir que no hay internet y que no se avisó sobre esto. Hora y cuarto andando cada día para llegar al pueblo. Perfecto para amantes del silencio y la soledad.

Que estraño here's la Unica que a puesto ese comentario y ni siquiera has pagado lo de la cuota de los días que estuviste por acá y te anduvimos en carro por varios lugares de verdad que eres una personaal agradecida

I had the chance to spend 15 days with Sandra y Angel: I totally merged in their way of living, sharing and being alive. I am really grateful for the experience I had, being the only volunteer there made it even deeper. I'd definitely recommend this finca to the ones who want to share a truthful time spent in nature, tranquility and tica culture; you will learn something new everyday: geography, politics, food, yourself! Espero que todos los deseos y proyectos que tienen se hagan realidad algún día, estoy segura de que así será porque realmente sabes cómo hacer q las cosas sucedan!Un abrazo
