The experience in this place for me was good. I felt comfortable and welcomed by Terry, Andrew, and the rest of the family. The job there is for three or four people normally, however, we were 7 volunteers, which made everything easier. In general, I enjoyed my time taking after the beautiful horses there, they are such lovely and kind animals. In the same way, The food was good, they are really good at cooking so dinners were an experience every night. When there were difficulties, they solved them in a good way. I could recommend this place for future travelers, I was so happy there.

From the beginning, we felt very welcome and happy to be there. We loved the whole experience. We were totally delighted with the horses and we are missing them. We took with us many stories and good memories of each of the animals and the people we met there. And at the end of the day, we would always have the delicious food made by Andy, which was always very tasty. It was really lovely to have dinner with your family every night for those 3 months. What a beautiful, funny and loving family. Thank you so much for sharing all these moments with us Terri, Andy, Gramma, Philli and Chris. 💜💜💜

Terry and Andy were lovely people. Working with the horses was a good experience. We were there on the winter and the work can be rough and physical some days. Terry provide us with boots and raincoats. You should be an animal lover to enjoy this experience. The shropshire hills can be far from big cities, so if you enjoy being around nature is good 😁

I don't know where to start. Terri and her lovely family became my second family away from home. From the very beginning they were caring and kind with me. I had my very own room, a nice bathroom and tons and tons of food hahah Andy is a wonderful chef, he cooks the nicest typical English dinner and the best puddings 😍 It is a lot of work, it is muddy in this time of year, but you get the chance to connect with the horses and I think that is priceless 🥹😍 all the people that work in the home were so nice and kind to me. It was an amazing experience and can't wait to come back 😍😊💞

The work is heavy if there are few volunteers but if there are 4 it is faster. There are not many places to go to meet, the horses are very calm and Andy's dinners are delicious.

I lived four days of nightmare. the place is dirty, they wash the cats dishes along with the humans, everything is full of mud, the place is in the middle of nowhere and there is no Uber. the horses are fussy and the work is hard (i weigh 100lbs) you're basically going to clean up horse shit and do whatever else is on Terri's mind. the only good meal that exists is dinner, breakfast and lunch are leftovers. Terri is disrespectful, she said I should be ashamed of myself for quitting volunteering, she yells at the volunteers and the horses. people are afraid of her.

Terry is very patient in explaining tasks even when you make mistakes, and his family are AWESOME people! I'm a digital nomad and I was able to work smoothly in my room after shifts. I had to leave earlier than I expected because of health issues, but I would really like to come back one day. Feeding the horses for the afternoon was a great time to breathe between my meetings. The room was very comfortable and Andy is a great cook. I learned about the horses' routine and more about their universes. It was a really fun experience. Thank you guys!
