I absolutely loved my time here!! I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. Terri is such a compassionate and kind human, you can really see how much she cares for her animals. She was always eager to answer any questions and made my stay at the home such a positive experience. Andy was lovely too! He prepared delicious meals each night for dinner and always has interesting stories to tell. The entire family is so so so lovely and becomes fast friends with anyone. The work is a bit rough at times, but very rewarding and the houses are incredibly gentle and sweet :)

This was the best experience of all. It is a real volunteering, I learned a lot about their culture, about horses and I was able to learn English. The food every night is absolutely delicious. The place is amazing, and there is never a shortage of laughs. Thank you Terry and Andy for this great opportunity and experience.

Terri, Andy and the whole the home family are really wonderful, they care about the well-being of the volunteers, my stay was enjoyable, they delivered as agreed, their pets are beautiful and polite, the horses quite calm, the place overall quite welcoming. I can't thank them enough for the hospitality and trust they gave me in my first volunteering.

The experience at higrove house was very good, I am very grateful to Terri and family for their patience in communicating with me, as I am starting in the English language. Higrove is a very pleasant place for those who are in contact with animals and want a little peace of mind while travelling. Therefore, to be here it is important that you like animals and living with them. Terri and Andy are wonderful people. As for the work and the structure offered, I didn't have any problems, everything was done exactly as agreed and offered in wordpackers.

Terri and her family are wonderful people. I had already volunteered there and I did it again because I had a problem with my former volunteer that left me with nowhere to go I asked Terri if I could come back and she accepted me again it helped me a lot Seriously I just have to thank this amazing place with these wonderful people Andy's food is still very DELICIOUS

I liked the experience with horses, they are very tender, friendly and intelligent animals. I met wonderful people, I enjoyed the landscapes and hiking near the place, I loved all the dinners, we shared with Gloria's cats and with her and we enjoyed our space Thank you for our stay

It was a really nice experience, the work is simple and it is not hard when there are three people or more, the horses are very cute and the dogs too. The town or villa is a 20-minute walk away and a bus passes every hour, there are many walks to do nearby. The dinners are delicious. In general, a recommended experience.

I enjoyed my time here. I loved the time I spent with the horses I never imagined that the horses could be so lovely and gentiles animals. I left a part of my heart with all of them. Also, I loved playing with the dogs they are so intelligent and cute. They are excellent chefs (I win some weight here Jajaja). My room was beautiful with a ''private bathroom'' (not too private because sometimes other volunteers take showers there for hot water problems, so if you have this room you need to be open mind and relaxed). Finally, I have a recommendation for future travelers never pick up the eggs

The experience in this place for me was good. I felt comfortable and welcomed by Terry, Andrew, and the rest of the family. The job there is for three or four people normally, however, we were 7 volunteers, which made everything easier. In general, I enjoyed my time taking after the beautiful horses there, they are such lovely and kind animals. In the same way, The food was good, they are really good at cooking so dinners were an experience every night. When there were difficulties, they solved them in a good way. I could recommend this place for future travelers, I was so happy there.

It was an amazing experience I really enjoyed the opportunity to meet them I am very grateful to all of them I made great friends there, the hosts are incredible wonderful people I wish I could have stayed longer and I would love to be able to return when I have better English the animals are amazing the dogs are very affectionate they love to play and receive affection the horses are very nice I really liked them the service is calm and very nice and I can't go without saying this Andy's food is DELICIOUS rararara anyone who can have this experience I was very happy to be there with them
