As for the house, it complies with what was agreed upon: 3 delicious homemade meals a day, private pizza and two bathrooms with a shower. Terri and Andy were always excellent and provided us with the comfort and amenities necessary to have a beautiful stay. The work in general is simple and easy to learn. In my particular case, I didn't know much English and it was easy for me and I was able to do it in the best way because the tasks are simple and repetitive. My experience was excellent. I am a fan of horses and this experience allowed me to get to know them and connect in a different way.

I had a really good experience! Terri was very patient in explaining things and understanding with the language, which helped a lot. Andy is amazing and always prepared delicious dinners. It was so special to spend this time here, especially during Christmas. And the animals – the horses, cats, and dogs – are all so lovely. I'm going to miss it!

I spent almost 4 months here and truly made a second home and family. I spent my birthday and Christmas here and I've never felt so welcomed and appreciated. The work can be hard in the winter (easy in summer), but the dinners everyone is talking about are amazing so it's all worth it (thank you Andy!!). The animals are all very special too, to say the least ;)

I felt really immediately welcomed here by Andy, Terri and the family. The work was well explained and mucking in and out the stables could be done efficiently and it always went by so quickly! The horses are really sweet to get to know and I really enjoyed spending time around them. The cats and dogs also are super sweet! I felt really well supported while working and could always ask questions or for help when needed. Terri and Andy take really good care of their volunteers which I really appreciated and I felt easily comfortable there. Thanks so much for such a lovely experience!

I had really beautiful 2 weeks at the home. The whole family is amazing and really welcoming. The work is really repetitive but pretty easy. I was there in winter, so we mostly just cleaned the stables and fed the horses. There is one shift in the morning and one in the afternoon. We usually had around 3 hours between shifts. Sadly you can't ride the horses yourself. They provide wellingtons, gloves and rain jackets for the work. Thank you so much for the amazing food and family dinners, I really enjoyed my time and I'll miss the adorable animals a lot!

Fue una maravillosa experiencia. Lamentablemente debimos terminar un poco antes por motivos personales, pero recomiendo muchísimo este voluntariado. El trabajo al principio es un poco físico, pero con un par de días te acostumbras, y además se respetan siempre los horarios, días libres, y las comidas, lo cual es muy importante. Terri y Andy son excelentes personas, y las comidas de Andy son espectaculares. Todos los animales son muy tranquilos y adorables.

The experience was wonderful, Terri and Andy are excellent hosts, they make you feel at home at all times (Andy's food is WONDERFUL). The horses are incredible, very calm and pleasant, as are the dogs and cats, they are also lovely!!. We loved living this experience, although it had to be shortened for personal reasons, we love the place and will definitely return if the opportunity arises. ❤️

This was a fantastic first experience, I was so nervous but Terri and Andy made myself and all the volunteers feel so at home! This is a must for animal lovers so many lovely horses, dogs, chickens, a lizard and cats to spend time with!! My room and bed were very comfortable and it was so nice having other volunteers from around the world to work with. I will miss the family dinners and the amazing cooking! Truly a great experience the workload was totally manageable and it was so nice to have a great time in the countryside. I hope to see you all again soon :)

Terri and the home family were amazing hosts to work with! They go out of their way to be as accommodating as possible. I brought up that I had always wanted to break open a Christmas cracker and the next day they brought some out to do so. Amazing cooking from Andy! Meals from pizza to shepherd's pie. Their home is very much an escape from the busy life of the city. The work wasn't too bad. What you would expect with horses. Feeding, turning out, and cleaning stalls when needs.

I spent 5 months at the home and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone in the family is very helpful, the schedule is respected and the work is not too hard. During this experience I felt integrated into the family's daily life and I will never forget the friendships I made and the good times I had. I definitely recommend the home if you want to work with amazing horses and improve your English.
