That was absolutely great experience i had in the UK! Once you come, you just part of the family, you have cozy private room or a camper van. You have dinner with everybody in this house at night. You have chance to make friends with other international volunteers and immerse yourself in local culture as well. You can take direct train to Manchester in the town. What else can you expect?

The volunteer is perfect. So many interesting people to talk with, the hosts, other volunteers, and the horses' owners. The tasks are easy, and you're probably going to spend less time doing them than it says on the profile. The horses are amazing and peaceful, won't be a problem if you're scared of them. And the food is so good, Andy cooks really well, and he is very attentive to what you can or like to eat. Terri is an amazing host, actually, everybody from the family is. You're going to feel part of the family. I'm proud and happy that I chose this volunteer.

Andy and Terry are amazing. They welcome you as if you have always been family and never fail to support you. They are simple people with good hearts and very high moral values. The work consists of looking after the horses, giving them hay, cleaning the stables and collecting their poo. They do this for four hours a day, the rest of the time is free. Andy is an exceptional and imaginative cook. What can I say, a truly unique experience.

Terri and Andy are two lovely people that open their home to travelers from all over the world and make you feel like part of the family. It was awesome having my own room and own space to unwind. The work is easy and peaceful; feeding and watering horses and picking the paddocks in the a.m. and feeding, watering and mucking a few stalls in the afternoon. Lovely location with a 10 minute walk to town with grocery store and discovery center with lovely walks. 2 miles to an awesome castle and wonderful hike to Flounder's Folly. Great access to the train and trips to Shrewsbury, Ludlow.

This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Terri, Andy, and their family are incredibly kind and caring. The animals are just lovely. The place is peaceful, perfect to recharge, surrounded by wonderful people. The work is physical but totally manageable. And the food… unbelievable! Huge thanks to Andy. I've never eaten so well! Truly an unforgettable and one-of-a-kind experience.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this experience and the people who have been part of it. I felt so welcomed and loved at Terri and Andy's house that it truly seemed like I was living with a new family away from my own. The tasks were all very well explained and easy to do. It's amazing to see the passion that Terri and Philippa talk about the horses and how they have no problems on teaching you things. And soon you get to understand why that passion exists. I've bonded with the horses in such a magical way that the hardest part was to say goodbye in my last day.

The home It's a place that embraces all forms of life. Alongside the horses, there are also cats and dogs to be with. The working hours are very reasonable. During spring/summer, the horses are out in the fields and our main tasks are feeding them, cleaning up the poop and pet them. We also help with gardening, like weeding and similar small tasks. The place has a special atmosphere, and everyone is kind and welcoming. In the evenings, Andy prepares great meals, creating the perfect setting to share stories and connect with others. Horses are such noble creatures! I already miss them :')
