The Experience
We run a busy friendly equine training and livery yard based in the beautiful Shropshire hills. We require someone to muck in and muck out 😀 A huge variety of horses from serious competition horses who show jump, event and do pure dressage to youngsters and happy hackers. We do require a little experience but are happy to teach anyone wanting to expand their knowledge and expertise.

I enjoyed the experience, I learned a lot about horses and the place is very beautiful, I recommend it to anyone who wants to live on a farm and be part of a family

The home It's a place that embraces all forms of life. Alongside the horses, there are also cats and dogs to be with. The working hours are very reasonable. During spring/summer, the horses are out in the fields and our main tasks are feeding them, cleaning up the poop and pet them. We also help with gardening, like weeding and similar small tasks. The place has a special atmosphere, and everyone is kind and welcoming. In the evenings, Andy prepares great meals, creating the perfect setting to share stories and connect with others. Horses are such noble creatures! I already miss them :')

I had a great time in Craven Arms, volunteering here makes you feel like part of a family while enjoying an amazing work and amazing animals. The food and accommodation were also fantastic. Thank you for everything!

Volunteering at the home was an amazing experience. Terri and Andy make you feel like family, and all meals are provided. The dinners are especially lovely—delicious and shared in a warm atmosphere. The horses are incredibly sweet, and the people you work with are just as kind. I'm so grateful for this experience and for the care and generosity of this wonderful family. Thank you, Terri and Andy!
