La Comarca una experiencia inolvidable, hermoso lugar, una naturaleza increíble y un río refrescante, Alex es un anfitrión muy buena onda que está acompañado por cinco gallinas locas. Conocí muchas personas con las que entablé una amistad, también conocí a los vecinos, personas muy amables con las que es muy agradable compartir (tienen una panadería en Quepos, riquísimas las cosas que hacen). Siempre está la posibilidad de ir a la playa o hacer caminatas y conocer los alrededores. Recomiendo por lejos la experiencia en La Comarca.

I had such a wonderful stay at la comarca and recommend it to all! Alex is such a kind host and makes sure all feel welcome. The work is very manageable and there is lots of flexibility in the tasks you do. During off days you can explore the lodge and the surrounding sites :) I hope to return and volunteer again soon!

Staying at La Comarca for three weeks has been a highlight of my travels these months. What a beautiful place it is, being surrounded by all sorts of nature and getting to enjoy it during your stay here. I was welcomed so warmly by the great team, especially Alex and his friends Belu and Lucas who run this place with a lot of grace. Them and the other volunteers became family so quickly. I even got to celebrate my birthday here which everyone made a great effort for! The work hours are perfect and flexible and I got to learn some new things. Hard to leave this gem!

Our experience in La Comarca was very lovely, we had so much fun and for our first volunteer was perfect, it is a nice place to visit, have fun and meet new people. The tasks were really simple you just work as hard as you can or else find some activities that you can do to improve La Comarca. About the hospitality it was great, the people there are so nice, they make you feel as part of a family (los queremos mucho Alex, Belu y Lucas🫶🏼) very enthusiastic people who take their time to explain what to do or how does it work. La Comarca is the place where you want to have your volunteer.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y tuve la suerte de que fuera en la Comarca ya que es un lugar maravilloso. Desde el primer día Alex, Lucas y Belu me hicieron sentir en familia porque es un lugar acogedor y ellos siempre fueron muy amables con todos. Las tareas son divertidas y sencillas, todo contribuía a ir mejorando poco a poco el lugar dejando tu granito de arena con nuevas ideas. Me llevo conmigo no solo el aprendizaje de nuevas habilidades y el valor de la naturaleza, sino también el cariño y la calidez de cada una de las personas que conocí. Ame cada momento en la Comarca :)

It was a really nice time for me at the lodge! I learned a lot new things and really liked to improve the property. The working hours are flexible and not too much. I can recommend to stay there for a longer time to see the improvement.

We had such an incredible time at La Comarca!!! The best workaway experience we have ever had. Alex, Lucas, Belen and the full team were all so great, we were so sad to say goodbye! The work was really varied and fun, and you have plenty of time off to enjoy the surroundings. the lodge is beautiful, we really enjoyed swimming in the river after working in the mornings and spotting all of the animals! Thank you SO much for having us - we are already counting the days until we can return to magical La Comarca once again ✨

We stayed almost 1 month and it was super fun ! We had the opportunity to meet a lot of amazing people, everyone was super kind and funny ☺️ About the work, there are a lot of tasks to do but you can decide if you want to work hard or not haha. With my boyfriend we chose to da lot of construction to create a new dome and improve the accommodation. The hours are quite flexible and respected The place is really in the nature and we can use the car to visit the area 🚗 There are so many cool things to see ! 🚨 I would definitely recommand to bring mosquito repellent Thanks for everyting 🫶🏼

Sin duda fue una experiencia que me a cambiado por completo! la comarca siempre la llevaré dentro de mi, el lugar es hermoso, pero sobre todo las personas que la conforman es lo mejor de todo! Me sentí en casa durante el tiempo que estuve y espero poder volver pronto, forme grandes amistades y vivi hermosas experiencias que les recomiendo no perderse! se lo recomiendo totalmente!

La experiencia en La Comarca ha sido increíble. Tanto Belu como Lucas, los responsables del lugar ( ya que Alex estaba fuera unas semanas) nos han hecho sentir en casa, nos vamos de allí con unos nuevos amigos. Respecto a las tareas, hay completa libertad para que cada uno haga lo que mejor se le da, desde limpieza, cocinar, construcción, jardinería, arte, ayuda con los clientes... El lugar es maravilloso, en medio de la naturaleza con acceso a un río para poder bañarte , cerca de playas y cataratas( te dejan incluso carro para poder moverte y visitarlas) Un 10/10 Top
