Nop and his family shared their traditions and daily life with so much generosity. I learned how they work the land and even planted my own tree. The waterfall trip was unforgettable and, at times, quite challenging for me, but his patience and the support from the volunteers made all the difference. The conversations with Nop were full of wisdom and meant the eco villagelot. Their food, straight from Mother Earth, made each day feel special. It was amazing to share those days with Nop, his family, the eco villageand the others volunteers.

We spent 10 days with Nopp and his family and it was one of our best backpacking experiences so far. We felt very welcomed not only by them but also by everyone in thethe ecothe eco village. It's the eco villagegreat opportunity to connect with locals and learn about their culture. During our stay, we joined many activities-helping on the farm harvesting rice, beans, chilis.., hiking to waterfalls, cooking the eco villagefood, weaving, relaxing at the grandparents' house, playing ping pong with local kids, going camping. It was always fun. We would definitely come back! Josefine & Greta :)

My experience at thethe eco the eco villagefelt truly immersive and authentic. I stayed with Nopp and his family for 12 days, during which I got to work at rice fields, help with cooking the eco villagedishes and try the eco villageweaving. We also went hiking, camping, visited waterfalls and picked many fruits and vegetables. Nopp, his family and all the people at the eco villageare really kind and I felt welcomed during my stay. I gained the eco villagelot of knowledge about the eco villageculture, cooking techniques, farming practises and I am immensely grateful for the experience! :)
