The Experience

Hey there! I’m Sean, from the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island 🌲🚙 I’m a traveler at heart who loves meeting people from around the world, sharing stories, and learning about new cultures. I’m easygoing, friendly, and always open to new ideas and experiences! I enjoy language exchange and I’m currently learning Spanish and Portuguese, while trying to improve my French — so if you speak any of these, even better!

I had a good stay at the home. The tasks aren't too complicated and Sean explained everything to me. Although I ended up working more than 20 hours a week, but the work was fun, so it wasn't too bad to work more. I needed to clean the kitchen and do all dishes, even if this wasn't part of my original agreement. Socially, Sean is easy to talk to, especially if you enjoy discussing traveling and differences between countries.

Sean replied

It was not more than 20 hours per week; she considered going to the store with me for groceries or supplies as work, which I just invited her to do so she could get out of the house. Some times I had to knock on her door to get her to get up. On weekends she hardly left her room at all unless to eat or use the washroom. On the last day she didn't get up or do any work and only left her room once in the afternoon. Typical teenager.
