Hey there! I’m Sean, from the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island 🌲🚙

I’m a traveler at heart who loves meeting people from around the world, sharing stories, and learning about new cultures. I’m easygoing, friendly, and always open to new ideas and experiences!

I enjoy language exchange and I’m currently learning Spanish and Portuguese, while trying to improve my French — so if you speak any of these, even better!

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Fluent Spanish

Between 18 and 38 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

I do automotive painting and restoration, and I’d love to host volunteers who are curious about learning new hands-on skills or who simply enjoy trying something different! 🚗✨

No experience is needed — just a positive attitude and willingness to learn. I’m patient, flexible, and happy to teach you the basics.

You can also help with general household chores, cleaning, and light maintenance to keep things running smoothly.

It’s a great opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and explore the beauty of Vancouver Island together
