The Experience

We’re looking for cheerful and friendly volunteers to support us at our cozy hostel in Yuzawa, Japan. Your main help will be with housekeeping and keeping the place tidy, and in your free time you’ll have plenty of opportunities to go skiing, snowboarding, or just enjoy the winter scenery. If you’re proactive, responsible, and open to cultural exchange, we’d be happy to welcome you!🤗

We had the best time at guesthouse the hostel! We wish we could have stayed longer. Naoto is a very kind and welcoming host and honestly wanted us to have a good time. The work is usually quickly done so there is enough time going on the slopes or enjoying Yuzawa.

The hostel is definitely a wonderful place to stay. Super convenient location that you can get everything you need around! Nao is a perfect host.The tasks are not difficult, and he encourages everyone to explore the town! He recommended a lot of places to me and took me there when he was free! He's so thoughtful and helpful, tried his best to help everyone and answered questions so carefully! It was my first volunteer experience, so I was nervous before I came, but Nao is someone who cares about others, so I am grateful to have been here! Everything was perfect! Thanks, Nao!
