En el Gato Colonial buscamos voluntarios con buena energía y pasión por el trato humano para unirse a nuestro equipo en Santo Domingo. Tu rol principal será apoyar en la recepción, la atención al cliente y algunas tareas de ventas (como ofrecer experiencias o servicios adicionales a los huéspedes). Es importante para nosotros es crear un ambiente cálido y cercano, donde cada viajero se sienta como en casa. Por eso valoramos personas proactivas.

The hostel was nothing short of perfect for my first world packers experience. I could only wish that each experience I have after this would be the same. Not only owners Juan Carlos/ Pablo but also the guests were so kind and helpful and even the nearby locals. Life is a bit slow here so if you're looking to work really hard then this isn't the place for you. 1000% would come back here if I'm ever in Santo Domingo again. Hopefully soon.

Had a wonderful stay at the hostel. Juan Carlos and Pablo were terrific hosts, very sociable, friendly and openminded to suggestions. For me this was a very relaxing, entertaining and comfortable stay in a great place! Would 100% recommend.

Juan Carlos and Claudia have been amaaaaaazing hosts! The hostel is a beautiful place for meeting new people from all over the world but also locals. I have met so many interesting, intelligent, creative, and passionate people. The hours and breaks were beyond reasonable. Kiwi, the cat, on the other hand has not been as friendly but alas, he's living his best life. No injuries or anything, he just ignores me when I try to say hi. I love him regardless. There are plenty of bars, cafés, and restaurants nearby. There's even a concert every Sunday right across the street from the hostel. 10/10

El hostel fue mi primer voluntariado, conoci gente de todos lados, el anfitrión fue muy amable y te brinda una excelente experiencia. La ciudad es muy segura. La gente muy amable. Pruebe la comida local y bailen mucho. El hostal está en un lugar muy estratégico, saluden de mi parte a Mónica , Pablo, Pedro y Kate. Busque por mi sombrero que deje ahí. El voluntariado me encanto
