The Experience
The Solomundo program at Kids Saving the Rainforest is looking for volunteers to help with gardening and maintaining green areas, caring for farm animals, assisting with construction and general maintenance tasks, and supporting composting and basic waste management. This is hands-on, outdoor work ideal for volunteers who enjoy physical tasks and want to contribute directly to a conservation project in Costa Rica.

Our experience at the shelter was truly incredible. All the work teams are always willing to help, and they welcomed us in a very warm way. You can really feel the family like environment and their genuine interest in making sure volunteers feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. The mission they carry out at the sanctuary is admirable. Fue una experiencia increíble, tanto Gabriel como todo el equipo fueron súper receptivos con nosotros, nos ayudaron desde un primer momento en cada incertidumbre. La misión que tienen en el santuario es algo fantástico, todo el equipo trabaja para impulsarla día a día. Recomiendo ir siempre, va a ser una experiencia magnífica.

El proyecto del refugio de Rescate de Vida Silvestre es muy interesante lo que hacen en el Santuario y Clinica, pero lamentablemente por muy mala organización y comunicación, esto llevó a no respetar acuerdos de funciones, horas y se creo mala comunicacion dentro del "campus" y el ambiente se torno desarmonioso e irrespetuoso. Lastima! De cualquier manera agradezco a quienes apoyaron!
