The Experience

We are looking for someone to help at our hostel in the heart of Cappadocia, ideally a solo traveller wanting to immerse themselves in the rich history and beautiful landscapes. We are located in Uçhisar, a 5 minute drive from Göreme and have a great view of the balloons going up each morning. Duties will include housekeeping of 4 rooms, helping with reception and keeping common areas clean. There is plenty of free time to explore Cappadocia.

I would recommend this hostel for anyone looking to volunteer in the hostel, theres only two small dorms and two private rooms to clean and lots of flexibility in hours and the chance to go on tours etc with other guests and Hasan who is very generous. Staying in the female dorm was very chill (ppl do wake up around 5-6 for sunrise balloon rides) but this didn't affect me and its a high-end hostel. Lots of chance to meet people and you get €20 a week for food - oh and you are in uçhisar which is on a hill with pretty views and nearby via walk/bus to other hikes or towns. Teşşekkürler Hasan!!

This was my first Worldpackers trip and Hasan's first time hosting — what an amazing match! We became good friends super quickly. Hasan's super chill, always around to help, chat, or share tips about the hostel. His family and kittens are lovely and make you feel at home. The work is easy, and there's plenty of free time to explore, relax, or just enjoy the views. The hostel is new, cozy, and very well located. You share a room with guests — sometimes a bit noisy. Food is bought weekly. Such a great experience to meet people from everywhere and really live the local culture! Never forget this❤
