The experience

We are looking for someone to help at our hostel in the heart of Cappadocia, ideally a solo traveller wanting to immerse themselves in the rich history and beautiful landscapes. We are located in Uçhisar, a 5 minute drive from Göreme and have a great view of the balloons going up each morning. Duties will include housekeeping of 4 rooms, helping with reception and keeping common areas clean. There is plenty of free time to explore Cappadocia.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

We expect daily housekeeping duties, reception assistance and general cleaning and tıdyıng. 5 hours work per day, then you have tıme to explore Cappadocia. Worldpackers can expect to be immersed in the culture here and see beautiful lanscapes. There is also many opportunities to meet travellers from all over the world.

Activities & Shift

2 hours of housecleaning per day ın the dorm rooms and private rooms
3 Hours in receptıon per day to assist wıth check-ins and check-outs

Activities can include family dinners, hiking tours and sunrıse/sunset viewings ın a jeep
