Ambar and her family are very welcoming and friendly. I learned a lot about Indonesian and Javanese culture, I even learned to speak Bahasa. The classes are easygoing and the children so cute. Due to Ramadam we didn't have too many classes but Ambar showed me around the city. I hope see then again one day!

I had some misunderstandings, but apart from that, they were amazing hosts. They are trying to create a good place for the volunteers and also developing their English program. I felt so involved in the community; they treated me really well. Ambar's children are so lovely, and the students are so engaged in learning. Ambar's food is delicious 🤤
