Akwaaba! (“Welcome” in Twi 😊) My name is Benjamin, and I live in a safe, friendly neighborhood in Takoradi, Ghana. I have a cosy private room in my family home, and I’m looking forward to hosting travelers and volunteers who want to experience authentic Ghanaian culture. I’m not running a business or organization — I simply enjoy meeting people from around the world and helping them feel at home.

Hosting Abderrahim (Kwesi) was a wonderful experience. He was respectful, hardworking and brought so much positive energy to the classroom and community. The students loved learning from him‐ they still say "voilá" just like he used to! His kindness, sense of humour and genuine care made a lasting impact on everyone. We're deeply grateful for his time with us at Scholars &Roots Ghana, and i highly recommend him to any host looking for a dedicated and inspiring volunteer. He is family now.
