Scholars & Roots Ghana-Community Based Organisation
Volunteers at Scholars & Roots Ghana can make a meaningful impact on local children and schools while fully immersing themselves in Ghanaian culture. You’ll participate in creative, educational, and community projects, share your own skills, and stay in a welcoming, family-like environment. This is an opportunity to grow personally, connect with the community, and experience the joy of cultural exchange firsthand.
I’m Benjamin Ofori, founder and coordinator of Scholars & Roots Ghana, a community-based initiative in Mpintsin, Takoradi. Our team currently consists of local volunteers from the community who work closely with me to run programs for children, schools, and cultural exchange.
Volunteers can expect to be treated as part of our family and community. We value respect, open communication, and collaboration, and we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. You’ll be guided in your tasks, encouraged to share your skills, and supported in making your volunteer experience meaningful, enjoyable, and impactful.
