Phoebe and jeremy we're so nice and helpful, I arrived a day earlier and they were very flexible. Tasks are easy and can be completed in less than 2 hours, this was my first hostel volunteering experience and i would recommend this hostel if you want to meet other travelers and socialize, I really enjoyed the time in the hostel and I am planning to come back and volunteer again.

I had a pleasant time volunteering at the hostel. Phoebe and Jeremy are always kind and attentive, welcoming, offer valuable advice, and are available whenever needed. They respect the agreed-upon terms and are dedicated to ensuring everyone has a pleasant stay, whether guest or volunteer. I was even able to extend my stay by 2 nights at the last minute, for which I am very grateful. Volunteering at the hostel was such a great experience! Phoebe and Jeremy were super welcoming and always helpful, making me feel right at home from the start. The work was easy and well-organised, with lots of free time to explore Hualien. The hostel has a friendly, relaxed vibe, and great facilities. The location is also super convenient, right near the train/bus station with a 7/11 and lots of restaurants close by. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a Worldpackers experience in Taiwan.

I really enjoyed my time with the hostel. The work was easy and the hours were good. The hostel was really cozy and very sociable so it was super easy to meet other international travellers. Phoebe and Jeremy were super hosts who explained the work well, showed us things to do about Taiwan, brought us for local cuisine and taught us Taiwanese games :)
