The Experience
The MAIN preparty & hostel AT Full Moon Party, Koh Phangan, Thailand. Well-known as the most social place, treating guests & staff like family. We work together in all aspects running the hostel & bar, creating the absolute BEST atmosphere possible for everyone! On Full Moon, we work hard & play hard - long hours but tons of fun. Between Full Moons it's quiet, and you have 95% free time! (We also often have new projects on the islands too!)

This was my first worldpackers experience so I didn't go into it expecting much. This is a great experience if you're looking for a social experience. I met the most wonderful outgoing people while I stayed, the staff are very friendly and want to get to know you and hangout. The workload is very light and it's made to be fun! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're social and enjoy a good time :)

Volunteering at WET was a great time. I loved meeting and becoming friends with the other volunteers. The work is really easy, and you only work during the week of the full moon, so the other three weeks I worked remotely, and explored the island. There is plenty of time to party after work. I definitely would recommend this experience to anyone who likes to party with a the hostel of new friends. Loren is a very kind host, and super helpful with anything you ask for! I definitely would return to this experience, or even has a friend to visit if I am ever back on Koh Phangan.

The work is pretty straight forward, pretty much just socialize with guests and promote the hostel's parties around town. Your experience is really going to come down to whether you like the parties on the island, which is mostly techno and rave music. Not really for me. The hostel staff are awesome and super friendly though, I will miss them! Some people complained that you don't really get communication or work before the 5 days around full moon which I don't really get.. just chill and have fun? Loren is pretty cool and doesn't micromanage your work. Overall a good experience

Everyone is so kind and amazing. I've met some of the most amazing people amongst all my travels. We got guest list to all the events that saved a lot of money. Best party throughout full moon and we are the center of it! Walking distance to the beach for full moon and just beaches altogether. It can get boring so get a bike and go explore the island! We came during a rough time with mourning period for the queen, but it was still fun with what we had. The volunteer dorm was a bit rough with mosquitoes and cleanliness that was a struggle but if you tell them they'll fumigate it. I recommend!

WET is the #1 pre party spot on the island and it was amazing! I spent over 3 weeks there and still wasn't ready to leave. The work hours were easy to follow and also fun! Thank you to all my fellow volunteers you were amazing and I'll miss you!
