My husband and I spent two weeks volunteering, an experience that truly touched our hearts. From the very first day, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and thoughtful gestures, including a generous welcome meal and a symbolic scarf that made us feel deeply valued. Mr. Ali guided us through the village with care and even arranged a small certificate ceremony that felt meaningful and sincere. Although we did not stay in the accommodation due to hot water needs, the home was clean and the host family was welcoming. We left grateful, changed, and inspired by human connection. Forever. Truly.

Hi, Emilio and Marcia. Thanks for joining our volunteers program.
You truly have an extraordinary ability to teach. You are able to teach children, teenagers, and adults of various skill levels. Our students have made significant progress. Two weeks is too short, we want you to stay with us longer. I hope that someday you will return to Blitar. We love you both 🥰🙏🏻

We had a wonderful experience in Blitar at the host School, fully immersed in local Javanese culture, making new friends. Mr. Ali is welcoming, caring, well organised, providing lesson plans while allowing freedom in teaching. The children are lovely and respectful. We joined local celebrations, schools and NGO for single mothers, creating touching memories. The host family was kind, attentive, warm, offering a clean home and delicious food; we later chose another accommodation because of hot water. Mr. Ali even organised a ceremony for handing out the certificates! Terima Kasih Mr. Ali!

I'm happy to have had the chance to see Srengat and meet the locals. From hiking mountains to visiting homes and even attending a wedding, you get to be immersed in the culture. The classes at Mr Ali's house are smaller so you can have a more focused teaching session with fewer students. You will also visit the local school where you'll see full sized classes.

I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer with the host and LKP the host, and it was truly an inspiring and rewarding experience. I was warmly welcomed in Blitar by Mr. Ali and he picked me up and made me feel at home. Over two weeks, I enjoyed trips to Goa Lowo Cave, beaches, mosques in Malang, Makam Soekarno, Chocolate Village, and even island hopping to Sempu Island. As a volunteer, I taught English and visited schools as a guest speaker, while also experiencing Indonesian culture, traditions, and language. A farewell dinner with a receiving certificates was amazing. Sampai Jumpa! 🌸

Best for you Afnan Khan. You are special, you can speak my language (Bahasa) and I can learn your language (Urdu). Thanks so much for joining us. You taught students in a different way. This made students got lesson easily. Our neighbors loved you joining in Maulid Nabi celebration here. Two weeks felt so fast, many tourist attractions that you haven't visited yet. I hope next you can join us again. Phir Milenge Beta. 💐

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to this beautiful family who opened their home — and their hearts — to share the gift of language with so many children and young people. A place where learning English becomes an act of care, connection, and hope for the future. Thank you for letting me be part of this meaningful work, for your warmth, and for the inspiring way you serve your community. Your generosity and dedication touched me deeply. I carry this experience in my he art.
