Tasks include decorating, general labour and we also need general household and cooking help. You'll live on site, work with the host and pro builder. Sue was my first host on WorldPackers and a perfect one at that. She was very accommodating and very flexible with tasks that needed to be done. Unfortunately, due to no fault of anyone, the weather played a big part in stopping us being able to get some tasks done. On our days off, Sue was also super helpful with recommendations on where to go and what to see, making a full itinerary for us to follow. Very much appreciated!! Overall, a very wholesome week an Overall, a very wholesome week and a huge thank you to Sue & family/friends for welcoming me into your home!

I had a truly wonderful experience staying with Sue. She is open-hearted, kind, and supportive. There was never any pressure, and I genuinely enjoyed both the work and her company. As a photographer and content creator, I was deeply inspired by the atmosphere of her rectory and the beauty around it. The house has an authentic English charm, and the Welsh landscapes are simply breathtaking. From the cozy nature to the magical sunsets, everything made me feel at home and filled me with joy and inspiration. I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay and highly recommend volunteering with Sue.

How special it was to meet Sue and spend two weeks with her! Sue is such a lovely person, a strong woman and incredibly welcoming. She made me feel completely at home in her house, and the work was genuinely very easy-going. She always checked in to see if I was okay with everything and whether I felt comfortable doing it. On my days off, she always tried to make the experience even better. I had the chance to visit Chester and Liverpool, both lovely cities nearby. I definitely recommend this experience and hope she continues to meet many amazing volunteers who will embrace her house dream.

Staying with Sue was such a wonderful experience. Work was flexible, and on our days off, Sue would take us to visit nearby cities like Chester and Liverpool. The tasks were fair and easy, and we enjoyed an amazing view while working. My friend Mariah and I had a room to ourselves, access to any food we wanted, and fast internet for our remote work. It was also a lovely opportunity to get to know a bit more about Wales. As a bonus, Sue is hilarious! We shared a similar taste in music and had great conversations about it all the time. It was an amazing experience an I would recommend it!
