The Experience

We have 5 luxury holiday cottages with heated pool, and at the end of a busy summer you will help us tidy everything away and winterise the site. We are looking for a flexible person that (a) will help us prepare the cottages for our final guests - cleaning, linen changes, welcoming guests (b) will help us prepare and run two pre booked parties in our large barn (C) will help us dismantle and store furnishings, toys and attractions.

Nick and Becs made us feel welcome before we even arrived at the farm. All the hours, tasks and accommodation was arranged beforehand so you knew what to expect. They catered really well to our needs and always put us first, they always included us and invited us to activities in the local area. It was all very french. If possible we would recommend bringing a car as it unlocks more flexibility in exploring the local area as public transport is a bit scarce.

We couldn't have had a better time staying with Nick, Becs and Oakley! They were extremely accommodating and the work was fun and rewarding. They took us to a lot of local summer events which we really enjoyed and always made sure we had time to explore the area. The presqu'île is a beautiful place and we will definitely return one day

Amazing experience at the farm ! I really enjoyed my time there, really glad to met Beccs and Nick, they always make sure you have everything you need and make you feel like a part of their family. The work was fair and they help you at anytime. They also care a lot about your experience, and making sure you enjoy as much as you can ! The surroundings are amazing, you can bike to the beach on 20min and if you love Nature it's really the best place to hike around with many trails on the beautiful coast. I highly recommend!

There are no words to describe how Rebecca and Nick were welcoming, friendly and kind and all the other good things! They made me feel super comfortable in the moment i arrived! They offered so many fun activities in the free time and also i had so many free time to explore the environment. They were so careful with my diet and offered me the best home-cooked meal every day!Work was not hard, and they respected carefully the working hours. They are living with a charming cute dog, Oakley! He is as welcoming as them! This experience is 100% recommending for those want to stay in countryside.

This was my first Worldpackers program. :) It was an amazing opportunity to see a unique part of France and enjoy some time on a beautiful farm. Rebecca and Nick are extremely hospitable and provide you with everything you could need as well as delicious food! Chatting with them is always so pleasant and you'll get to hear some great advice, stories, and jokes. The farm is a bit far from things, but there are busses nearby, and I got to see a lot of the area and local activities (concerts, flea markets, etc.) by joining along with the hosts. I would definitely recommend!
