The experience

We have 5 luxury holiday cottages with heated pool, and at the end of a busy summer you will help us tidy everything away and winterise the site.
We are looking for a flexible person that
(a) will help us prepare the cottages for our final guests - cleaning, linen changes, welcoming guests
(b) will help us prepare and run two pre booked parties in our large barn
(C) will help us dismantle and store furnishings, toys and attractions.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent French

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Activities & Shift

Each day will be different but we will be looking for 5 hours of your time.
The main objective is to pack away the cottages for the winter, but we also have a wedding and a music event booked and we will need your help in getting ready for those.

Rules

Our Worldpackers generally follow the same pattern.
You will live in the spare bedroom in our house.
Breakfast will be self service from a selection we provide.
We will work in the morning and stop for lunch together and then in the afternoon you are free to enjoy some leisure time.
We will cook and evening meal for us all and will often ask for some help with that.
