The Experience

We need a hand at the agriturismo we’ve recently started. There is a small vegetable garden, a cat, a horse, a goat, and we’re planning to build a chicken coop to keep a couple of hens… Then in the restaurant we need a hand in the kitchen like making pasta, perhaps a little hand with the cleaning and other daily shores, there are some other little jobs regarding to house keeping because we rent rooms and we need a hand with that too.

The two weeks I spent here were amazing! As my first volunteer experience, it was perfect. I was provided with a big room, delicious meals & I gained so much knowledge. Majority of my time was spent helping in the restaurant & I learnt so much about cookery. The environment itself is super beautiful, 1000m above sea level, with a view of the valley below & mountains across, as well as many stars in the night sky. Everyone I met were super welcoming, accommodating, hospitable & so kind. I learnt so much about the Italian language, culture & cuisine from them. Thank you the farm!
