Agriturismo in Toscana

The experience

We need a hand at the agriturismo we’ve recently started. There is a small vegetable garden, a horse, a goat, and we’re planning to build a chicken coop to keep a couple of hens… Then in the restaurant we need a hand in the kitchen like making pasta, perhaps a little hand with the cleaning and other daily shores, there are some other little jobs regarding to house keeping because we rent rooms and we need a hand with that too, and of course fun

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Italian

Between 18 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

The program will be provided the best opportunity for learning about Italian culture, food and language and sharing with our multicultural staff. And of course not everything is work, during the free days we could go for hiking, cycling, trekking or go to the river. Also during the off time you can use the guitar and some other musical instruments or have some guitar lessons if you want

Activities & Shift

Actually we need a hand in every position here in the Agriturismo, help with the rooms, veggie patch, horse, restaurant and perhaps a little bit of gardening. Obviously you don’t need to do everything just the things that you can do or would you like to learn

No smoking inside and don’t close the windows bathroom because the Starlink cable could be broken
