Looking for an Assistant Manager! Hey everyone, we are looking for an assistant live-in manager for our surf hostel called Doña Rose in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. We are a one year old surf hostel with fun family vibes, a small bar, surf lessons, co-working and social activities. We would love you to be our new eyes on site! Super fun experience! The workload is not much and the shifts were well structured. I had lots of fun with the other volunteers and it was a great way to get to know more people and international travellers.

I spent two amazing months at the Old Town Hostel, it was my very first volunteering experience. I already can't wait to come back❤️ Time truly flew by. I met so many wonderful people, both guests and volunteers, which made the experience even more special. The working hours are fair, Ayuz or one of the others explains everything to you, making work easy. I also loved being able to visit the other hostel - it felt like stopping by friends and family every once in a while. I'm really going to miss this place, the people, and of course Moxie, the crazy and incredibly cute cat:)

This was my first volunteering experience, and I couldn't have chosen a better place. I met amazing people, from the young hostel guests to the other volunteers, always kind and supportive. I didn't expect to create such strong and lasting bonds, but the hostel's welcoming environment and shared spaces made it easy. The managers, Ayuz and Estefi, make you feel at home and are always understanding. The work is simple and relaxed, with no experience required. I truly recommend this experience.

I had a wonderful two months at the hostel Surf Hostel. Being so close to the beach and able to surf often was amazing. The work hours were fair, the tasks easy, and there was plenty of free time to explore the island. You can also reach their other hostel by bus, which brought some nice variety. The managers are super kind and welcoming. I felt at home from the start and met great people who became real friends. And they even have the sweetest cat! I would warmly recommend this experience to anyone — the island is beautiful, and the hostel family makes it even better. 🧡🌞

I had an amazing time in the hostel!! The terrace as my favourite chill out spot, the beach a few steps away and all the beautiful day trips you can do made my experience very special. The people I met there added to the positive atmosphere and felt really comfortable to be with from the first day already. Tasks were fair and not too hard with a lot of freetime. I can definitely recommend volunteering there and would be happy to eventually come back myself🥳 much lovee🫶🏻
