The Experience
As a housekeeping volunteer you’ll be at the forefront of our operations as part of the housekeeping team you’ll help to maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness for our residents. Duties include : Everyday general cleaning including the cleaning of showers, toilets, bedrooms, public & communal areas, external areas, kitchens and dining room.

My volunteer experience at the hostel was incredible. Besides being able to help, I had the chance to meet wonderful people and feel truly welcomed by the team. Staying at the hostel Green was such a lovely experience! I met the sweetest people and honestly never felt alone. I arrived on August 3rd and just two days later, on my birthday, they made it so special for me. I cooked pasta, and then Raphael surprised me with two cakes and a bunch of sweets. We ended up having a little improvised party, which was the nicest way to start my stay. I also really connected with the reception team, they were always so kind. Truly a beautiful experience. I'd recommend it to anyone! <3 ^_^

This was my first volunteering experience with WP, and it was amazing! Michal, Raphael, and Alejandro were always kind, and we even had some fun pizza parties together. The location is perfect—close to transport options and very safe to walk around anytime. The room was great too. Be open to meeting new people and making friends—you'll definitely find some!

Volunteering at the hostel was, without a doubt, the best experience of volunteering that I have ever had in my life. The team is extremely collaborative, organized, and welcoming. From the very first day, I felt well received and part of a truly supportive team. All the necessary materials for the work were always provided, food was available in abundance, and the studio offered was super comfortable — a true home during this period.

The hostel has felt like home to me for the past month and I can just say it was perfect. I felt very welcomed from the start. Raphael, Michal and Alejandro are the most amazing hosts and you can come to them at anytime. If you're as lucky as I was, you'll meet amazing people that will make your experience unforgettable! The tasks are easy and well explained, it doesn't even feel like working. Food and location are amazing as well! I am extremely grateful I was able to stay in this hostel and would definitely recommend it!!!
