The Experience
As a housekeeping volunteer you’ll be at the forefront of our operations as part of the housekeeping team you’ll help to maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness for our residents. Duties include : Everyday general cleaning including the cleaning of showers, toilets, bedrooms, public & communal areas, external areas, kitchens and dining room.

This was my first volunteer experience with Worldpackers and I must say it did not disappoint! I was warmly welcomed by all the staff and volunteers. I immediately received training with Rafael to best prepare me for the volunteering activities. The tasks proved simple. The pace of the activities is uneven; some days were more challenging than others, but was absolutely manageable. I had the opportunity to learn new things, meet people from all over the world, discover one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe and brush up my English. It will be an experience I will cherish forever.

This is my first volunteering, and I had the best experience in the hostel. From my first day I felt very welcome, the staff team supports you in everything you need, working with the other volunteers makes it really fun. Luckily I had to spend my birthday here, and they made me feel at home. It helped me a lot to practice English, to work in a team with friends from other countries, and the atmosphere is very good. I highly recommend the hostel!

Staying at the hostel Green was such a lovely experience! I met the sweetest people and honestly never felt alone. I arrived on August 3rd and just two days later, on my birthday, they made it so special for me. I cooked pasta, and then Raphael surprised me with two cakes and a bunch of sweets. We ended up having a little improvised party, which was the nicest way to start my stay. I also really connected with the reception team, they were always so kind. Truly a beautiful experience. I'd recommend it to anyone! <3 ^_^
