This is a wonderful experience and there is a very positive community coming together with this homestay. The hosts collaborate with you and can always help if needed. A great experience in a really good location that I would highly recommend!

The experience is really great, I arrived Sunday afternoon and Margaret was there to welcome me. As the class starts at 7.30pm every night, you got plenty of free time during the day to explore local area and the home city. In terms activities, not much to do around the area except for exploring local foods and experiencing the true local life. All the students and teachers were really nice, sometimes they asked volunteers to join them for dinner or going out during the weekend.

I truly enjoyed volunteering at this opportunity. The host team was welcoming, organized, and supportive throughout my time. It was a great volunteer experience. It really makes me happy to help local people who are eager to learn English and to see their progress. Although it is a little far from the city center, it can be easily reached by grab or bus. Lessons are tailored to the needs of the volunteers, so you have time to explore the city. You can also prepare your own meals using the shared kitchen.

It was a really nice experience for me! The students are super interested in the classes and the Homestay has great local teachers to help with everything. We just need to help them with the conversations and make the students feel comfortable to practice English. It's a nice opportunity to connect to the local community and to other travelers that are also volunteering. The female and male dorms are separate and the beds are pretty comfortable. The kitchen is basic, but it works well. You will have a good time volunteering here!
