My experience with the organization Karonga,in the north of Malawi, alongside Jimmy, was absolutely amazing.I volunteered for three weeks on the project.Jimmy and the families in the organization is amazing and incredibly welcoming. The project is a lifeline for them, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any volunteer planning to travel to Malawi and looking for a real cultural immersion. They really need all the help they can get.The children are wonderful and will create lasting memories in any volunteers life.I am deeply grateful to Jimmy for the opportunity.TAONGA!

Hereno, Thanks for choosing to work with TWESA. It was a great experience with you. Have been able to start learning some words in Portuguese. Thanks for the support of flour toward the children feeding program and also the balls for our kids. Above all, many thanks for the writing on our walls which will remain for years. Your humbleness, hardworking and the love for children is great. You have left a great impact behind. Wishing you all the best in life. Obrigado!

What a beautiful project, sustained by the local the organization! Jimmy, James, Angela, and the rest of the team are truly putting their hearts into it. Karonga, located at the border with Tanzania in the far north, is not the easiest destination to reach due to rough roads and the long journey. If you're coming from Lilongwe, I'd suggest breaking up the trip with a stop at Nkhata Bay to avoid spending over 13 hours on the bus. The team is always open to suggestions, and you'll have a wonderful time working with them. Feels like you contributing to something meaningful

Was a wonderful time with Laura and left behind a great impact. We have launched a children feeding program and thanks to Laura for the support. The sporting equipment and everything. Our community resource center is becoming more busy now and we are happy to see that the dream is coming to reality. The women are now into chicken farming as an income generating activity and also as a source of manure for their gardens. We welcome others to come and supplement the efforts in anyway possible.

The organization is a great project with a truly impact in the organization working on women empowerment, climate change and education for the kids. It is one of the most organized projects I've seen, with documents specifying all the activities and how they make the difference in Karonga. Eric was my host, amazing person, him and his wife Mersi were very welcoming and made my stay be so easy and nice. Thanks Jimmy and Eric for the experience, hope you guys keep doing the amazing job and help the organization Karonga.
