The Experience

Hello ! In June (from the 9th until the 20th), we will welcome in our Hostel in Braunwald, Switzerland, a group of Brazilian women who want to discover Switzerland. They would also like to learn a bit of Italian and discover the Swiss culture, which is why we are looking for an extra volunteer : One person that speak Italian. The work is mainly kitchen related, housekeeping, making a 2h workshop about Italian and enjoy the Swiss moutains.

This was my first volunteering experience with Worldpackers and I absolutely loved it, and would love to come back again! I stayed for three weeks, during which I spent time at two different camps, both in beautiful locations in the Swiss Alps. Hours were just as agreed, probably even less than I expected, on average, leaving me a lot of free time to explore the area. It was also great to be able to socialise with the other international volunteers and staff at the camp. Another highlight of my trip was the meals provided, the food was genuinely so good!

Being here gives the possibility to see all the work and passion of teaching, everything done in a very organiced and professional way.
