The Experience

Hello, We are Tom, Jorien and Gerie and we have been living in Orne - Normandy with our large Bernese Mountain Dog, two horses and cat since May 2024. We have bought an old manor house from 1855 that we are going to completely renovate To live in and to start a b&b We are looking for a hand-on person who likes working independently and outdoors. After the last storm three apple trees have fallen and need to be sawn en slit.

Jorien, Tom, and Gere are a wonderful family. Extremely nice people with a gorgeous estate in Normandy. Jorien and Tom are fantastic cooks, so we ate three meals everyday which is extremely rare. The home they are remodeling is gorgeous with stables and a tennis court. I learned how to use a wood chipping machine and turn large tree branches into sawdust. I also painted the stables. This was a very fun experience and I highly recommend staying here. When the property is finished it is going to be a spectacular house. They have a phenomenal dog and. great cat as well as two horses.
