Hello! 👋 We’re a friendly couple in our forties, living with our three wonderful kids 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 in a charming little village nestled in the French mountains ⛰️, surrounded by forests and a beautiful river 🌊. We’ve embarked on an exciting journey: building our own 150m² wooden house — and we’d love your help! 💚

I don't think I can put into words how much I loved this experience. Spending time in La Souche with Maud, Swann, and their family was incredibly special. They are the sweetest and most accommodating family. This was definitely one of my best experiences on WP. La Souche is a cute and quiet town that's perfect for spending time in nature whether it was swimming the home river or hiking with Swann. The work wasn't too difficult and Swann is very patient, clear, and helpful in explaining the tasks. I will definitely miss it (especially Maud's cooking!). Merci infiniment !!

My wife and I helped Maud and Swan for a week and it was a great experience. We had a nice big private room with and attached bathroom and shower. We had access to a stocked kitchen to make whatever we wanted and the hosts provided food and ingredients. They were both very friendly and great to work with. Swan took us on a local hike one of the days up the mountains and it was a beautiful area. I would definitely do it again if I could .

I loved my time at La Souche so much! Maud and Swann are incredible, kind people and they really did everything to make the volunteering experience fun and easy. The work was rewarding and very well explained by Swann, with a good coffee break and the most delicious lunches by Maud. The village and landscapes of the area are incredible too. I'll always remember this experience and I can only hope that I'll be back in La Souche one day to see the completed house :) Thank you so much Maud and Swann for everything!

Maude and Swan has both souls. It was my first experience with this app and I am happy that it was them whom I have encountered. I loved the view of the home while we were working.
