The Experience

Our natural garden is a refuge for various plants and animals. Your task would be to help maintain this garden and create additional habitats. Fruits and plants from the garden will be harvested and processed, and I need your help with this. The animals residing here value your care, gentle strokes, and also appreciate cleanliness. Would you like to be able to create your own medicine cabinet from nature? I'd be happy to show you how!

I was met with incredible kindness from the moment the farm picked me up from the train station to when she dropped me off. I truly felt like a part of the family here. the farm was understanding & accommodating to the hours & the work we'd do. I got to immerse myself in the local culture, learn new music (eg. the folk instruments hackbrett), gain animal care & landscaping skills, & have endless talks with the family about our cultural similarities & differences. I'm already looking forward to coming back. What an awesome & transformative experience. Thank you so much for everything!

It was an amazing experience. the farm is a kind and respectfull woman who actually loves animals and wants to help. The work was not hard and i had the opportunity to choose what i want to do more, the hours were respected and i had freedom to rest or do what i want. The animals that the farm corrently has are all amazing and very cute. I enjoyed helping and living there

The farm was an amazing host and I am very lucky to have met her. Not only was every aspect of the agreement respected but she went above and beyond to make my experience special. At the end of my visit, I felt more like family rather than a volunteer.

I spent one week here with my friend. This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I had a really good time. The moment the farm picked us up from the train station, we felt like part of the family. We spent 4 hours or less daily working in the garden, the rest of the time the farm and her daughter showed us beautiful places in the neighborhood, we played with their lovely animals (like Pumba, the wild boar) and made salt with herbs and ointment for muscle pain together. the farm knows so much about herbs and animals in the nature and is ready to teach you everything. I was sad to leave.

I spent a wonderful week at Carolas place with one of my friends. Our tasks were mainly to move some wood and stones under the garage and to take care of the animals. Her garden is like a fairytale and playing with her boar felt also like being in a tale. the farm is a selfless, kind person, who truly cares about nature and the wellbeing of animals. She even took us on some adventures and gave us handmade gifts.
