We had an amazing time in Ançã, Portugal! During our stay here, we really grew to love this little town. All of the locals are incredibly kind and welcoming. Niels and his family are also very kind and accommodating. The work was fairly easy and straightforward, and we had plenty of free time to explore the area and nearby towns. It was a great experience in this quiet rural environment. Niels is a very kind and helpful person. I felt welcome from the first moment. He was very easy to deal with and the tasks were enjoyable, especially the gardening, where I learned agricultural and irrigation skills. All the people were friendly, especially Niels' family, the workers and the volunteers. We worked as a team together and all the experiences were positive. Thank you Niels for your generosity and for all the help you provided. I highly recommend volunteering here.
