Bouwie is a nature lover who is eager to explain how things work. He has been very hospitable and approachable. Good place to get into touch with nature and escape all the distractions of today's world. The work activities were mostly physical, which was communicated initially. Overall a great and unique experience.

I had such a beautiful experience! Bouwie is such a kind and welcoming soul. He does a great job of ensuring you're comfortable and feel you have space to ask questions and prioritize your boundaries. I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting to learn more about the community-the community living and life- I learned so much. Even being the community-the community and in The Forest, Bouwie made sure to show me Dutch culture and traditions as I shared I wanted to learn all about it when I arrived. 3 weeks wasn't long enough, and I will definitely miss all the great cooking and sense of community.

Had an amazing time here. It is such a beautiful area and bouwie is such a caring person. I loved getting to know the land and the people here. I was here in autumn and really want to come back in the summer to enjoy a swim in the river and experience more sunny days however, autumn was still so beautiful and created such a cozy vibe. I didn't get to see the others in the community so much but that was okay as I liked having some independence and alone time

The magic forest which such an amazing experience!! I got the opportunity to improve my gardening, construction, and general handyman knowledge whilst still being able to absorb all the beautiful nature around me. I don't know if it's listed but one of my favourite things to do was take a dip in a nearby stream when I had free time. The food was great, all from the community garden, forest, or locally sourced. The accomodation was very cozy as well. And of course the main man himself Bouwie is such a generous, fun-loving guy and Im sure anyone would have a blast!

This is the perfect place for anyone who wants to learn about sustainability and permaculture. Bouwie will welcome you into his home with open arms, and do everything possible to make you comfortable. During my two weeks here I got to develop my green thumb and live the community and completely immersed in nature. The living village community is wonderful, and everyone in the forest was so nice. I got to exist in their community and help out around the project and coexist with nature. Thank you Bouwie and everyone else in the village for a wonderful experience!
