The Experience

Silvi and I just had a baby and have a business to run. We need help to do basic daily cleaning: tidy up the house, clean the counters, hang out the clothes, do the dishes, etc. At this time of the year we do not tend to have other WorldPackers around, which means you'll mainly socialise with our family (cousin's, parents, friends). Note: we have a cleaner who comes weekly for a deeper house cleaning.

It's a really nice expensive to stay with Tiago's family with unlimited grapes and figs. Silvic is soooo nice, and the dishes she cook are amazing. Most importantly, Denis is so cute. The time that sitting around the pool and walk around the village is so cozy.

The the winery was my first worldpackers experience and honestly it couldn't have been better!! Silvi, Thiago and ofc the cutest baby on earth, baby Dinis are the most AMAZING host you could ever wish for! The tasks are chill and they explain everything with a lot of patience, just go with a good attitude and be willing to help. they are super flexible with the days off and rest time If you're coming on summer please don't forget sunscreen and sunglasses !! Absolutely amazing experience! This was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! Tiago and Silvi are so welcoming, we shared some amazing meals. The accommodations are beautiful as well! Tiago was always willing to take us to the train station for us to explore nearby cities! We got to meet their wonderful families and get to learn about Portuguese culture. I will always be grateful for this experience and strongly recommend!

Tiago and Silvi were so wonderful to stay with !! They provided us with beautiful accommodations and always ensured we were well fed. The work consisted of a variety of tasks that changed each day, some including the winery based activities and some more along the housekeeping route. Silvi and Tiago introduced us to their family, shared many good tidbits of information about culture and language with us and were always thoughtful and considerate of what we wanted to do with our free time!! I cannot recommend this experience enough if you get the chance. Thank you!!
